SESSIONS & FEES
I aim to be transparent about how I work and what it costs, so you can decide before getting in touch whether this feels right for you.
How sessions work
Sessions are 50 minutes long and take place either online via Proton Meet or in person in Battersea (SW11). Most clients find a weekly rhythm works best, particularly in the earlier stages of therapy; fortnightly sessions can also fit certain points in the work. We'll agree together what suits you when we meet.
I work with adults (18 and over), on either a short-term or open-ended basis.
Fees
My fee is £75 per 50-minute session. I review my fees annually in April and will always give you two months' notice of any change.
If you'd find it helpful to commit to a set number of sessions at the outset (for example, a course of six or twelve), we can discuss packages during the introductory call. Some people prefer the structure and commitment of booking a defined course of work; others prefer the open-ended approach. Both are fine.
Payment and cancellation
Payment is by bank transfer, due at least 48 hours before each session. Sessions cancelled or rearranged with less than 48 hours' notice are charged in full – not as a commercial policy, but because I hold your slot for you each week and rarely have time to fill it on short notice.
When I work
I see clients Monday to Friday, between 9am and 8pm. Between sessions, I'm reachable by email or text for brief practical matters (rescheduling, for example); the work itself happens within our sessions.
For urgent support outside our agreed times, please contact the Samaritans on 116 123, NHS 111, your GP, or attend A&E.
Getting started
The first step is a free 20-minute introductory call, by phone or video. It's a chance for us both to see whether we're a good fit before any commitment.
You can ask me anything you'd like, and I can listen to what's bringing you to therapy and explain a little more about how I work.
If, after the call, you'd like to start, we'll arrange a first session and I'll send you a short contract covering confidentiality, data protection, and the practical points above.
